Listeria System 18R (ref. 71640) is a 18-well panel containing dried biochemical substrata for the identification of Listeria species isolated from cultures in selective or non selective agar media.
The panel is inoculated with a suspension of Listeria spp. and incubated at 36±1°C for 18-24 hours. The species is identified through a numerical codification obtained by the color change of the biochemical tests in the reaction wells. Listeria System 18R allows for the identification of the following species in 18-24 hours: Listeria monocytogenes Listeria innocua Listeria grayi subsp. grayi Listeria grayi subsp. murrayi Listeria seeligeri Listeria welshimeri Listeria ivanovii Jonesia denitrificans.
