Self-contained

STERILtest BAT E6 and STERILtest BAT E5 are self contained biological indicators for ethylene oxide sterilization processes containing Bacillus atrophaeus (ATCC 9372) spores.
STERILtest BAT E6 and STERILtest BAT E5 are made of a thermoplastic tube, with a cup permeable to ethylene oxide, that contains an ampoule with a growth medium with a pH indicator and a disc impregnated with Bacillus atrophaeus (ATCC 9372) spores in predefined concentrations. The medium is validated for use with disc and meets U.S.Pharmacopoeia growth promotion guidelines and in accordance with ISO 11138 and EN 866 standards.

Strips

Biological indicators STRIP CONTROL BAT are produced under strictly controlled conditions in order to satisfy the requirements indicated in the USP current edition and in accordance with ISO 11138 and EN 866 standards. These biological indicators are special filter paper strips, inoculated with Bacillus atrophaeus (ATCC 9372) spores in predefined concentrations and contained in a special envelope. Each package contains a culture medium, STERI-TEST MEDIUM, in glass test tubes with screw cap closures. The medium is validated for use with strips and meets the U.S. Pharmacopoeia growth promotion guidelines.

Suspensions

Biological indicators SUSPENSION SPORE BAT E10/E9/E8/E7/E6/E5 are used for validation and monitoring process of dry heat and ethylene oxide sterilizers. They are produced under strictly controlled conditions in order to satisfy the requirements indicated in the USP current edition and in accordance with ISO 11138 and EN 866 standards.
